What is DataFlow verification?
DataFlow Group is an independent verification company contracted by Gulf health authorities — including DHA, HAAD/DOH and MOHAP — to confirm that your qualifications, licenses and work experience are genuine. Rather than trusting your uploaded documents at face value, DataFlow contacts the actual issuing institutions directly: your university, your professional licensing board, and your past employers.
This is called primary-source verification (PSV), and it exists because Gulf authorities need certainty that every licensed healthcare professional's credentials are real before they're allowed to treat patients.
How the process works, step by step
The mechanics are broadly the same regardless of which authority you're applying to (DHA, HAAD/DOH or MOHAP) — only the destination for your final report changes.
- Create an account on the DataFlow portal and select your target health authority.
- Choose a case type: "New Case" for a first-time application, or "Transfer Case" if you already have a verified report from another authority.
- Sign the Letter of Authorization — this gives DataFlow legal permission to contact your university, past employers and licensing board directly. Nothing proceeds without it.
- Upload your documents and pay the verification fee.
- Track your case while DataFlow verifies each document with its original source.
- Once every document is confirmed, DataFlow sends the completed report directly to your chosen health authority.
Documents you'll need
Missing or incorrectly formatted documents are the single most common cause of delay. Have these ready before you start:
- Passport, valid for at least 6 months, clear scans of both photo and signature pages.
- A recent passport-style photo (within 6 months, white background).
- Your degree certificate(s) and complete academic transcripts.
- A current, valid professional license from your home country or country of last practice.
- A Good Standing Certificate from your licensing authority, issued no more than 6 months ago.
- Experience certificates on official letterhead, showing your role, dates and clinical responsibilities, with an authorized signature and facility stamp.
How long does it actually take?
Most sources put standard processing at roughly 15–25 working days, though complex cases — unresponsive universities, incomplete records, documents that need translation — can stretch to 45 days or more. A minority of cases are cleared faster where every source responds quickly.
The single biggest lever you control is starting early and submitting complete documents the first time. Universities and past employers work at their own pace, and resubmitting a rejected document restarts part of the clock.
One report, multiple authorities?
Each authority technically needs its own DataFlow case, but DHA accepts transferred reports from other UAE regulators — including HAAD/DOH, MOHAP and SHA — sometimes with additional verification requested.
