Practice questions, timed mock exams, and a personalised study plan for the Abu Dhabi healthcare licensing exam — still widely known as the "HAAD exam," officially the DOH exam since 2017. Built for your specialty.
The Health Authority – Abu Dhabi (HAAD) was renamed the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH) in 2017. If you've heard people call it the "HAAD exam," that's the exam's long-standing nickname — the licensing exam itself, its format, and its requirements are unchanged. Every current registration, license, and exam booking runs through DOH's own official channels, which is why this page uses both names: HAAD because that's what most candidates search for, DOH because that's the authority you'll actually deal with.
The exam is a computer-based, single-best-answer multiple-choice test delivered at Pearson VUE test centres, with a profession-specific blueprint covering the clinical knowledge relevant to your specialty. Every healthcare professional who wants to practise in Abu Dhabi — from physicians and nurses to pharmacists, dentists and allied health professionals — must pass the exam for their category as part of DOH licensing.
